When I suggested that the Cap was valuable and should be CGC'd, I had no idea that she had sold comics before...
To boot, she's selling a CGC graded comic as well  squink

I just checked the negs she left... http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=all_your_gifts&Dirn=Left+byand I found she
1. left a ton of negs (87 negs, 7 neutrals plus 5 withdrawn)
2. left negs for poor grading (many)
3. left negs claiming a seller cracks CGC cases and resells restored books...
Now, someone who is not familiar with comics, is not going to leave negs for poor grading, nor will they know that books were cracked out and sold as unrestored...complains about the difference between a 9.4 a 9.2, and a VF?  ?seems to know a lot of grading terms...and how not to pack a CGC case.
You cannot see this stuff on eBay, but it's still on toolhaus (thank you Win;)
It gets curiouser and curiouser and she still sounds familiar...there was something that happened somewhere, but I can't find it on google.

Could be a decent book, but the seller really should learn that you actually can remove it from the Fortress. Either way, the prospective buyer will never have all the information required to bid with total confidence.
And in the end it will hurt the final price on this book. Certainly would have been worth having this graded unless they know its trimmed [for example] because on the surface it looks pretty nice.

This listing was ended early, as was the Daredevil Battles Hitler issue. I hate when sellers do that, even if allowed by Ebay rules.
Anyone here buy it in person? She indicated to me in response to a question that someone was coming to look at it. It appeared to be a beuatiful book.
I was on the fence about this seller, as she indicated that these were received years ago in trade for her husband's inherited books, but the Daredevil issue (a Rockford pedigree) was purchased at a Heritage auction in 2005. I know the Heritage buyer could have bought it and then traded for the seller's husband's books, as indicated, but it sounded like a story, especially when combined with the other things mentioned in this thread. They were still fantastic looking books and she did indicate the CA #1 was restored.
