Stevenrams
RIP Davy Jones. Loved the TV show from the sixties and I loved their hit songs, especially "Daydream Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville". steelcity
Just arrived today from CGC. What a present in the post! CGC ought to send out books like this in fancy wrappings, with bow and tied up ribbon!
Stevenrams
I definitely agree. And this book surely would merit such trappings. Thanks for your comment, Ian
frozentundraguy
RIP Davy Jones. Loved the TV show from the sixties and I loved their hit songs, especially "Daydream Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville". Terrific book! I have to agree, it's was sad to hear of Davy Jones passing. For a few years in the late 60's the Monkees had many neat songs.
frozentundraguy
Nowhere near the class of recent books being posted, but it's kind of interesting to know that mixed in with all of the green, gold, red etc. kryptonite there was even jewel kryptonite. Silver
I always liked the stories with new Kryptonite's. Have you read the gold Kryptonite story in Adventure 299?

I thoroughly enjoy the kryptonite stories, but have not had the pleasure of reading Adventure 299.

Silver
I started reading the Suberboy reprint book from DC that has the More Fun and early Adventure stories in it. It is interesting to see how the early stories evolved. In the more fun issues there is kind of a kid gang feel to the stories.

This particular issue seems quite abundant in VG or lower, but is extremely elusive above 8.5. A check shows 7 copies at 9.0 or better.
