Wow... loaded question \:D

For some... all of the 80s
for others... different for each company, title and character
for still others... there is no copper age, only Gold, silver, Bronze and modern

Choose your own adventure

hm I did not intend the loaded question. Just for the purposes of this thread. If I was going to share my Copper joy then I thought I'd see what was copper 1st. \:\)

Walking Dead and Chew are NOT copper dude! \(tsk\)

Seriously, go ahead and show it! Your a knowlegable guy, so it's obviously close enough. \(thumbs u

Somewhere between 1980-1992. But like Joshua pointed out, part of the challenge is individual collector perception, book/title loyalty, and what Kool Aid you drink from.

I personally view the copper age as starting with Watchmen and ending with Jim Lee taking wildstorm to DC. But that's just my opinion. That covers basically 86 to 98, I think?

I generally consider copper age 1980-1990. Easy peasy that way.

Just in only a few posts, we have a few ranges:

1980-1992 (early Marvel/DC activitty to "death" of Superman)

1984-1993 (TMNT 1 to Image/Valiant activity)

1980-1990 (because it's a straight decade)

Interesting.
