Jeezus, I can't be the only one to think that if you feel "swagger" because you own a comic book, then you're doing it wrong, can I?
Pride that you created something, be it a report, a painting, a child, a spreadsheet, a poo? Yeah, sure, but pride on account of being that guy that bought a bunch of copies of comic book X, boy howdy...I dunno. I'm torn between "to each their own," and "whatchu talkin bout Willis" here.
I guess I just don't see BangZoom or Bedrock or Jon Berk being all "swaggerdly" about the books they have, just happy to own and appreciate them. I guess that's more my speed

I didn't as an adult.

I think Cal's love of Iron Man/Submariner #1 drove that book to higher prices. I used to love seeing the picture of all of the books layed out. It's a book that's extremely common with very little demand, even in high grade. He'd have to buy at least ten times more to have any effect on prices of it.
Disagree totally. Even the GPA quoters posted here about only 3( three)CGC copies of IMSM sales one year( 2003), and the HIGHER grades are not that easy to get.
The prices keep going up, and those who are selling theirs NOW are cashing in
Been here, doing that...
CAL still has plenty left...
