Honest question for the mods:
Will everything be restored as it was?
Reason I ask is a lot of us use this place for fun AND business and if PMs go missing or threads go missing this could make things complicated.

+1 If it's not broke why fix it? The site often experienced slow-downs, especially when it was busy and the search function was being used by more than one person. The moderators were right to move everything to a better server. Although there have been a handful of teething problems. 
Point taken. Everyone complains when anything is upgraded... I've just turned 40 so I'm starting to complain about everything
