My general comment is this. People vent all the time. Whether poor or rich, it happens. Here, the folks made the mistake of talking to a reporter and failing to grasp that 99% of America couldn't give a flying one about their "problems". But, at the end of the day, they're not, as far as I can tell, asking for any handouts to remedy these "problems".

These guys are clueless as to perception and seem irresponsible. But they made the mistake of wanting to be understood. Plenty of people are looking for that. However, I think they'd have been better off keeping their mouth shut and complaining over cigars and brandy at the club.

Chris, it's no different than someone coming on here and saying something like: I just lost my annual bonus, so I need to sell my comics to support my family.

You could argue that they shouldn't have put the money into comics in the first place, but as people we like to indulge in things that help us reward ourselves from the fruit of our labours.

If anything, this does not show to be a problem with the rich, it's a problem with society itself in that the focus has shifted from stability to gratification.

And that is something that I think most of us are guilty of.
