Its quite interesting pacing oneself with kids; all the things you want to do when you first have kids have a time and a place.

Most of us don't remember anything before the age of 3 or so, so a lot of the time people do things with 2 and 3 year olds that they remember as kids (like doing to Disney world - where for a 2 year old Goofy is a huge freakin dog that got loose)

I just started watching Princess Bride with the kids 6 and 7; hopefully they are at the right age; so far so good.

been wondering about the price of comics then and now - did some inflation calculations

10 cents in 1936 = $1.63 today

12 cents in 1961 = 0.91 cents today

15 cents in 1969 = 0.93 cents today

20 cents in 1972 = $1.08 today (apparently Superman 254)
