Six hours of some of the best tennis I've ever seen in gruelling heat, which ended at 2 AM, and they still managed to compose themselves and look immaculate for their post-match speeches. Even the great Rod Laver was in awe.

Plus, Djokovic played nearly 5 hours at the highest level less than than 2 days before. He's probably the best athlete/sports person in the world at the moment.
It will be interesting to see how Nadal recovers from this psychologically. I thought Nadal looked down and out after the third set, and that Djokovic had really got his number. Somehow Nadal managed to get back into it in the fourth, which should at least give him a crumb of comfort. Although he messed up on a pivotal point that would've taken him clear by a break in the final set, he made sure that Djokovic had to work for the title. Remarkable how composed Djokovic looked after the game.
I felt that Djokovic was somewhat below par in the first and fourth sets and he really gave those away. Baring injury and serious lack of form he looks best placed of any player I've ever seen during the Open area to complete the Grand Slam - and that includes Federer when he was at his majestic best in 2005/06.

My contribution to this thread. I wonder how many years I have until he starts beating his dear old dad...
