sckao sckao This Space for RENT TOTAL NEWBIE Registered: 04/02/03 Posts: 12863 Loc: San Francisco Bay Area	VCC Planning Committee If you'd like to help out with the VCC in some capacity, please let me know. There are actually a fair amount of things that need to be done. Specifically, Guerilla Advertising on other comic messageboards Advertising at the free tables at existing conventions VCC Charity Auctions (Someone would take these on as their responsibility.) VCC Sideshow: Trailer Park (You would find interesting/funny YouTube/Mimeo videos or comic book related trailers, etc.) VCC Sideshow: coming up with interesting comic items or topics Working on VCC limited editions or prints, etc. (Ongoing experiments in real time artists alleys, etc.) Live Scheduled guest chats? Updates to the technical areas or to the tutorial areas. Sometimes they have a specific charity in mind although there really are only two major comic-related ones: CBLDF and Hero Initiative. You format the auction item and post it at the appropriate time. Monitor it. When it ends, you call a winner. Winner tends to make the donation and let the donor know via PM (or post their receipt). Donor then sends the item.
