And I didn't realize in one story, Death's Head took out Bumblebee.
Yep, that's the book.
It was an interesting difference in continuity between the US and UK Transformers stories regarding the destruction of Bumblebee. Mostly, the UK stories fitted into US continuity in-between stories but in this case the US stories had Bumblebee destroyed by GI Joe and the UK showed him destroyed by Death's Head.
I wonder how rare this is? For some reason the rest of world for the most part wasn`t obsessed with bagging, boarding, and hording comic books like we Americans.

Not only would it be rare because of the buyers of these books not being obsessed with condition but also these were bigger than the traditional US comic format so there weren't really bags and boards around that fitted them.
On top of that, while I don't know production numbers, I'm pretty certain that they would be a lot lower than most US series.

I remember being a kid and not wanting to get the British comics because they were a wierd size. I was apparently real picky when I was collecting back then... I only wanted US sized books. Probably missed out on some good stories.

Some of the original UK Transformers stories that they inserted into the US continuity were very good. I can't remember any of the UK creators who worked on them apart from Simon Furman but I'd be interested in looking up who did work on it. I remember the first UK story in there was called "Man Of Iron" and the artwork was the best I ever saw in the series, US or UK.

yeah I think I'll try and grab a copy of some of these...
I looked on ebay and found a few but they were a little pricey... $15 for a F copy of 113 ad $25 for a NM of 117... looked over on the UK Ebay and they were cheaper Think I could get 110 - 117 for £10 or something like that. As long as the seller doesn't mind shipping to the States does eBay have a problem with the Colonies using The Queen's eBay?

There are some sellers on this side of the pond that might be able to help. I was obsessed with several issues of the Captain Britain book (for some reason I think it was the appearances of his sister who became Psylocke). Joseph Koch had tons of them. He may have other British books too. Good luck.

Thanks Gaz.. (meant to come back to this thread). I appreciate the offer!
I'll let you know if I need your services. I'll be out of the country end of Feb for a few weeks so I'll be able to rack up some extra man money to try and see if I can grab some of these.
-Fingh - I'll take a look at Koch's site and see what he has.. sites blocked from work so I'll have to remember to look at home.
