The scenes from this movie are used in all the "Hitler finds out about (sports, pop culture, etc.,)" parodies you see on Youtube and elsewhere.

That is an excellent movie. \(thumbs u

I just finished this and I thought I'd share.

I thought this movie was fantastic. Here's my facebook mini-review (no spoilers)

"If you enjoy the stories of Twilight Zone mixed with a little In The Mouth of Madness and The Shining, then this movie will hit the spot. Not overly gory and not in your face scary, this movie delivers more of a subtle fear that will pleasantly linger. Highly recommended."

And now nightmares are trapped inside the heads of humans. Pitiful echoes of themselves. I wonder whom they angered so to merit such a fate."

Man was I hooked. Surprised the resident lawyers on the board aren't.

I know one lawyer who likes it. I think it was pretty lame as far as legal thrillers go, to be honest with you, in no small part because it is absolutely ludicrous to think that a class action plaintiff's attorney would give anywhere near that much responsibility to a first-year associate.

Did you watch past the first couple episodes? It is eventually revealed that the attorney only hired the ingenue to get access to a key witness. (Then keeps her around because she identifies her with the daughter she never had.)

Anyway, Krzysztof Kieslowski was a director who wrote and directed a couple of movies I really liked a lot from this period, his Three Colours: Blue, Three Colours: White, Three Colours: Red, and The Double Life of Veronique.
I had read at some point afterwards that he retired.

He was a great director, but he did not retire. He died in 1996, a couple years after "Red" was released. His "Decalogue" made-for-TV movies are said to be among his best work (each based on one of the 10 Commandments).

Haven't seen it yet, but I've read that Rare Exports (not available on streaming though) is supposed to be good too if you liked Troll Hunter.

I've been watching the Being Human UK version. Really like it. Not a movie, but worth watching unless you're totally sick of the whole vampire thing.

If you're in the mood for a good foreign movie (subtitled) that might enlighten you on events current in the news, I highly recommend the German movie "The Wave" recently out on DVD from Netflix (unbelievably it came out 3 years ago, you'd think it's written from todays headlines), although it's not on instant.

Now available on Instant, highly recommended.

Have you watched all three series? All are excellent.

And of course they feature Rose Byrne.
