I was thinking of ordering some books from Metrolopolis Comics in NYC. For those who have dealt with them, are their gradings usually spot on? Too tough? A little loose? Thanks in advance for any help.

Patchy...but not in a good way. +1 I assume 1.0 overgraded on average, based on what CGC would give it. My personal eval of Metro books I've seen, and from a handful of Metro books that have come back from CGC graded 1.0 lower than Metro's assigned grade. Books in the 9.0-9.6 range we're obviously talking more a 0.2-0.4 spread.
I would agree with that...

I recall a while back, they had a few instances of duplicates of the exact same book, same grade. The metro graded ones cost less than the CGC graded ones.
Take from that what you will.

Thanks in advance for any help. Why not order from the fine sellers here?Look at Flaming Telepath who posted in your thread, can't get anyone who is a tighter grader,at great prices.Dale Roberts,Rick Whitelock at New Force Comics there are a ton of sellers here.Put up your want list in our "Want to buy" thread.I'm sure you'll find a nicer book at a cheaper price.
