While i agree with both of you that the players are greedy bastards, some of the decisions made by owners are truly mind boggling!
Look at pretty much any roster in the NBA and there at least 1 if not 2,3,4 players with contracts that the owners had to have been legally INSANE to hand out! If the owners stopped giving complete bums 4 year $50 million contracts, they wouldnt be losing nearly the money that they are!

the owners. In reality, the only people getting are the people that want to watch basketball. You wouldn't give over 50% of revenue to the employees? The Owners are the one's that pay for the arena, parking lot workers, restaurant workers, share owners, and clean up crew. I don't see the players helping out those people.
I have liked a lot of the info in this story. It also has a lot of links to other information about the owners and their "losing money."

the players What the hell am I going to do without NBA Basketball You can always watch the awesome glory that is Syracuse University basketball We basically have a pro team this year anyways I just may have to watch collage ball Yeppers. Sometimes it is hit and miss with college but it almost always a lot of fun. I wonder how UT's basketball team is doing?
Texas A&M is ranked in the Top 25. Don't know about Texas.

But at the end of the day both parties are at fault for this mess
