Compared to the rest of the big clubs our wage structure is very tight, another reason why we can't get/keep world class players, that's why he goes for kids and hopes, but I see what you mean that they are still overpaid for quality they are As I understand it, Arsenal`s total wages are among the highest in the league, but the compression between lowest paid and highest paid is among the narrowest among the big clubs, meaning they pay high at the low end and pay low at the high end, if that makes sense. They pay young players a lot more than most other clubs to attract young talent, which results in overpayment of players that don`t pan out, such as Bendtner. Conversely, they pay their stars relatively little, so that paying 130,000 a week to RVP is "busting" their wage structure whereas it would not be a big deal at all Man U, Chelsea, Man City or Liverpool. I`m not sure what Spurs` wage structure looks like.

being stripped of all there players Like Arsenal wish they would strip us of Djourou, Ramsey, Bendtner, Park, Diaby, Arshavin, list goes on Are you guys down on Ramsey? I thought he was the next great Welsh hope? The problem with getting rid of these players is Arsenal pays them such high wages that other teams are unwilling to buy them, so no one is willing to take them except on loan, where presumably Arsenal continues to subsidize part of their wages.
Personally I'm happy with Ramsey, Last year was his first season back from a major injury and to begin with was over played and then played outr of position.

we also have the most players on the books, last season it was 71 i believe, with alot out on loan nowadays as we have scrapped the reserve team, yeah Fiorentina have bid 4.5 million for Chamakh Wouldn't be bad business considering we got him for free Especially since he's not worth 4.5 million.
I don't know about this, I agree that his performance level over the last 18 months has been awful but prior to that he had a top scoring season in France and looked great for Arsenal at the start of the 2010-2011 season. I have heard rumours of private life struggles and some players just can't cope with being second fiddle and that was what he has been at Arsenal. He may well be a great goalscorer for another club.
