What a drab weekend. Not only draws aplenty, but scoreless draws. Assuming Man City win tonight, it certainly looks like there will be a 2 horse race, which isn't good because Mancini isn't the man to get the best out of the team and win the title.
I guess Sir Alex feels he doesn't even need Sneijder or Nasri to win the League at this point, as neither Arsenal nor Chelsea have strengthened their squads over last season, while he probably rates Mancini about as highly as you do.

I agree if we are only talikng about United winning the Premier League. But if they want to mount a serious challenge for the Champions League title, United are still short in Midfield IMHO.

I know its Championship but I'm still posting it! Amazing win for us away at Leicester, Reading were the better team in the 1st half and I think both teams were on par in the 2nd. What made the win much more sweeter was the fact Matt Mills left Reading to go to Leicester and we come away with the win! So much for Svens' splashing of the cash. With Shane Long departing for West Brom (and what a great addition) goal scoring falls to Noel Hunt and Simon Church, Hunt did not dissapoint. With £10 million from recent transfers I would like to see Reading buy a couple of players!
We'll forgive you.

Aguero off to a great start with Man City, but then again, Robinho had a great start too, and we know how that ended. I sure hope Man City can put up a challenge to Man U, because it ain't going to be coming from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs.

I see Man U has announced its plans to do a public listing on the Singapore Exchange.
A bit of a joke, really, as the WSJ article said that the company "decided not to list in Hong Kong". If "deciding" means learned that they weren't eligible because the company is not profitable, then I guess it really was a voluntary decision to list on a 2nd rate exchange like Singapore which is desperately trawling for business by marketing its lower eligibility standards for listing companies!
Also not clear whether the Glazers will sell some of their shares in such listing (meaning the company doesn't get such proceeds), or whether it will all be newly issued shares (meaning the company will get the proceeds) and what the use of the proceeds will be (repayment of debt, new investment?).

Meanwhile, the luck of the Ferguson may be running dry (contrary to your view regarding Man U's fortunes) with most of their first choice defenders (Ferdinand, Vidic) out for some time due to injury.
But it's alright because Man utd can't do wrong and their squad is all conquering
