I put the link in and it looked good on the preview...but then it wouldn't load as it said I had exceeded the amount of information (1000 characters I believe)...so I would've had to remove I believe at least one of my 3 posted Registry links and I wasn't going to do that...so I don't have a link at present...

I think it'd be cool if the board members feedback could accessed through a link in their profile, so I could simply go through the invoice PM's of all my previous sales and just click on the sellers name to go to their profile and then click on the link to submit feedback in the forum. I realize I'm late to the party, and these suggestions maybe have been made or are irrelevant.

So, can I get instructions on how to put a link to the kudos page in my signature line?
I'd like to have it in place in time for when I decide to have a sale \:p

We apologise again for the fault in the moderation. Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked have been sacked.

It's POSSIBLE that your competitive spirit has displaced your sense of courtesy.

I would say that if you ever make big purchases and look for some payment flexibility, or just to help people feel comfortable holding a desirable book for you after the "I'll Take It", that a good track record as a buyer could only be a positive thing.

And just imagine if there was a trading forum to avoid the expense.

I'm focusing us on positive feedback right now because it allows us to test out the one-thread-per-person model without confusing the one-thread-per-person model with the secondary change of combining positive and negative feedback together.

Also, we are preserving the current centralized probation discussion / probation list format in a way that allows the community to review and contribute to disputes. Without that central format the negative feedback becomes an isolated argument between parties.

We could allow everyone to chip in their opinions on each feedback thread for each dispute, but you can see that many disputes would get missed by most of the community in that situation. We do not need to force the community to read tons of positive feedback threads for people that they are not doing a deal with just to see if they can help shape the response to a bad deal. It's a time sink.

Additionally if the situation gets worked out satisfactorily then there will be a lot of clutter on the feedback threads for what ultimately becomes a non-event.

What I think we will probably move towards (NOT YET, DON'T GET JUMPY - KUDOS ONLY RIGHT NOW) is that if a person ends up on the probation list or hall of shame, then a single post noting that fact could be placed in the feedback thread for a person. That way individual threads don't become big clumsy debates but instead are simple summaries of the end results of transactions - satisfactory or not. But the negative feedback would go through the current community filter before getting entrenched.

So will we have a negative (not sure what the Antonym of kudo is) thread?

Basically you're asking for people to use common sense?
Um...... good luck with that.

This is what I wrote in my sig box under "my profile"

My selling and buying feedback

Can't remember how I came up with that but it forms the link saying "my selling and buying feedback". \(shrug\)

Go to the first page of your Kudos thread and copy the URL from the navigation bar on your browser.

Now go to your profile and put this in your signature:

My Feedback Thread

And there you are.
