Why am I not surprised you'd not see anything wrong with the tackle?  To be honest Nick, with all the people I've spoken to, TV footage watched and newspapers read, you're the only one who has seen anything wrong with it!  Studs up and took the foot before the ball? Nah, 'nothing wrong with it' when it goes in your favour, mate.  If he had have taken the foot before the ball, yes it would have been wrong. But he didn't. 
They analysed it on 'Goals On Sunday', slowed down to the frame of contact.
Studs were raised (you could see them quite clearly) and he didn't even touch the ball, but did stamp on Heitinga. Technically, it was a red card, never mind a foul.

Updated after the Man Utd/Fulham game... Boozad 4 (2) gaz2810i 4 (2) collector_bill 4 (1) Flaming_Telepath 4 (1) tth2 4 (1) blowout 3 (1) Ariamus 3 (0) 1koko 2 (0) A draw tomorrow will see a tie between Gary, myself and Gav, with Gav and Gary also tied on exact scores. However, a win for City will see Tim take the pot.  But Collector Bill also has a man city win. It looks like a possibe rollover to me, Gav, Nick and I can only end in a tie, Bill and Tim can only tie, as well, so unless one of them gets an exact score no one can actually win this week. You're right. If City win by either 2-0 or 2-1, either Tim or Bill win. Any other result and we have a roll-over.
Pretty funny that the 2 Liverpool fans are the ones picking a Man City win.
