"the list" was a snapshot of the number of notifications we are receiving about political posting. Its primary purpose was to highlight that:
1. The trend is not good.
2. Yes, individuals are responsible for that.
It is not a "most wanted" list, or an attempt to compile stats on political posting over a 6 month period blah blah blah.
But I am letting you all know that I'm going to start picking people that are continuing to make moderation of the water cooler a chore and strike them. I will not be trolling my way through all of the posts in the water cooler in order to weigh the exact frequency and degree of violations and then handle people in priority order. It's not worth the effort. I'll make a quick judgement call on who is continuing to ignore my warnings in an obvious way and then do something about it.
Think of it like duck hunting. You don't really pick out the fattest duck. You just look up in the sky, pick a duck and shoot. Just don't be a duck.
There are a lot of "Ducks", hope you get your legal limit.  I'd rather see strikes than see complete threads vaporized because some people can't stop bringing politics into the threads.
