Firing up the scanner now. Will be posting gi combats in the mixed age thread starting at 8 central time. Most are really good filler books but some that I'm listing are real gems. will show f.c and b.c of all books and who knows I may throw in some other stuff as well. Thanks, Steve.

Pretty excited about a collection I just picked up. About 10 small boxes of 1980's Gladstones - Library's, comics, hard covers, digests etc all in high grade. 2 boxes of DC 100 pagers in various high grade. And 1 box of Golden Age, mostly Four Color - Tarzans, mickey mouse and a few Fawcetts.

 

Guy was a big buyer from Geppi back in the day. Some old Geppi labels.

I will be holding a big sale this weekend on undergrounds (what else), almost all pre 1982, most will be priced between $1 and $5 each, all will be significantly under F#G guide. This will be a good time to get some great reading material.

I am trying to move some funny books, some Supermans and a few Neal Adams covers that I have upgraded on. All books are CGC'd. Will start a thread when tomorrow (I hope).

 

The funny books include 9 Tip Top comics, all with Peanuts on the covers, 2 Nancy and Sluggo, a Fritzi Ritz and 2 New Funnies with Woody. Many file copies all 9.0 or better, even a 9.8.

Hey gang.

 

I am just processing an original owner Dell collection from the 1950's to the 1960's. The collection varies in content with some sporadic lower grade copies in the early 1950's and the bulk of the issues being from the late 1950's to the early 1960's. There are about 200 books total including some books with Barks work.

 

Mostly Walt Disney oriented stuff with a few other odds and ends. There's also a few nice square bounds that are really tough to find in nice shape.

 

Grades vary roughly from 2.0 range to 7.0 range.

 

What is really neat about the collection is that the original owner made his own tidy numerical and alphabetical catalog markings on almost every book to be able to keep track of them.

 

I hope to start posting stuff tomorrow.

Just picked up a nice collection of Savage Sword of Conan. Out of the first 100 issues of the mag there are 86 present. Grades range from 4.0 to around 9.0 at just a quick glance. I'm going to list them as a set with a silly low price.

 

Also have a few stray bronze age books to list. Hopefully put everything together by tomorrow.
