This is from 1954. I don't think I have shown this one before but somebody may have posted it. Some of the last scifi covers by Schomburg. He continued to work but the number of pulps was severly reduced in the fifties.

looks sort of like his surrealistic paperback covers of the era, fun to see him changing his style at that point.

me too! The guy ships terribly though. The pulp was damaged in the mail. Even after I asked for it to be mailed between sheets of cardboard & offered to pay more, it was still just mailed in an envelope.
