There was a Frazetta fanzine/checklist that had this cover printed in b/w on its own page. No description, no details given, and to this day I've considered this a Frazetta cover from 1950. All info on the net says different. There is no FF on the insides. I checked. Thoughts, ideas, answers?

This one is the MH copy. My issue is fairly beat.

From the Grand Comics Database:

"Overstreet identifies this painting to be the work of Harold Winfield Scott who painted covers for pulp magazines, and Gary Watson specifies the source of the cover as the October 1947 issue of Trojan's Speed Western Stories. "

I have searched from the beginning to the end of the internet and have the calluses on my fingers and the bleeding eyes to prove it.

It looks like what we think of as Frazetta now, but I don't think that was his style at that time.

Looks like it could even be a Saunders cover... hm
It sure does look like a cover from a "Wild Western" pulp...

Yeah, I found that a while back and mailed a copy of it to Frank Jr. he showed it to Frank, who said NO, it's not his work.

I never considered this FF. Gary Watson's info seems to confirm that.

I just looked and it doesn't say.
Isn't there someone out there who knows about the publication of Frazetta Treasury?
There's no info anywhere inside of who printed or published.
