I only own one white mountain (a FF), but they are generally very pretty
I used to own the one that Roy posted, that is, I did until Jim/CGCWorld begged me into trading it to him for another pedigree copy.
Did you forget the couple hundred cash that was also included in the "trade?"
Of course not. After Jim professed his profound desire to reunite all of the SA Marvels in the WM pedigree, I traded the WM copy for the inferior Mass copy and 200 bucks. As I recall, Jim was exceedingly grateful for my willingess to make the trade, and professed as such on these very boards (i.e., he was extremely happy with our deal).
Unfortunately, I wasn't given the chance to complete the reverse trade when Jim decided to part with the book.

This is the second time this issue has been brought up and I'm not really digging the undertones. I sold the entire WM's in one shot, I couldn't pick and choose what books I could pull from the collection. That being said, Bob, you had knowledge the day I sold the books and the JIM #91 sat on the Blazing Ones website for a week that I know of.
I thought it was so classy for you to do me the favour you did, I even started a thread in General to personally thank you.
Jim

I honestly thought you guys had been friends for years! My heart really goes out to you guys and all of his family! " dem1138 July 24/09 3:16PM
Bob, the Mass copy definitely has much better color strike, especially in the black and grey area....I didn't think there could be such a big difference.

Actually the JIM #91 has been on the site longer than one week. It was originally listed and had been up for awhile. A member of the boards (now officially a deadbeat) in my books bought it and never paid for it. Hence it was put up for sale and was on the site.
The "undertones" are more along the lines that I probably wouldn't have un-done the trade and taken back the Mass copy. And Bob you are correct, I wouldn't have.

I was looking at Marnin's 11 White Mountain's he put up in the NOD comic X-change last night including MIS and Strange Adventures, and they are really sharp books. I can see why they are popular.
