I'm a bit over 1000. don't have exact number right now, but 4+ long boxes. I'm also in the process of scanning, cataloging, and pricing nearly 700 comics I plan on putting in the selling forum by the end of the month hopefully.

I'm down to 8-1/2 LB's full - I'd say about 2200. At my "best," I probably only ever had 3500, and I've been a collector for 26 years now.

Wow. Didn't ever realize I had so many.

Used to be in the 1000's. I sold off most of my bronze and silver to make way for some big GA purchases.

I have about 50-100 core SA and BA books left.

My true collection now consists of a handful of GA books and a few SA keys.

Last time I posted here I was at around 500 books but I've been slowly moving them to fund OA purchases. I'm under 100 now.

Getting bigger by the day as my wallet gets thinner.

I have so many frigging comic books I'm beginning to look at my duplicates as a collection in themselves.

Color me crazy but I'm actually looking forward to the day when my day job goes away (in 2-3 months) so I can work on my comic collection for a couple of months. Hopefully I can sell a bunch of the dupes on the bay or I might even start a website.

Sounds like a great idea - go for it!

Related to getting your collection covered under home owner’s insurance policy, they require that you have the collection appraised. How/where would you get a collection appraised???

I'm currently sitting somewhere between 700 and 750 books ranging from GA to moderns, but I haven't bought a modern book since 2004...my main focus now is mostly Silver Age, although I enjoy picking up a nice EC now and then...
