I would consider getting a job, if I could find one that met my criteria... I have to be able to drink all the coke zero I want, and not have to really do much, and I have to be off at same time my kids get out of school, so I can do all of their activities with them, and I am not working weekends, especially during football season, and I have to be able to leave at the drop of a hat if something better is happening that day... any leads are appreciated \(thumbs u

YOU do need to get a job...
SG, hit the TX WorkForce commission thing. With the auto industry
in the can, I am on very shakey ground. Sales down 40%, and I've
seen two great salesman get $ 41 paychecks for two weeks of
showing up and not having a customer on the lot. And with all the
layoffs and closings at car dealers, no one wants to hire inventory
consultants right now. Thank God this place I'm working at has a
truly F'd up inventory. AND a new software platform. I appear to be
1 of only 2 that can figure the new DMS out. Might just be buying
me more time.

Hey towards, I didn't know you were in the car business. My income is solely based on car sales at this point. Luckily, our market here isn't totally screwed. Most of my dealers are still turning a profit. Toyota's numbers have been dropping like a rock, which is a bit surprising. My Toyota dealer here had been doing 200 used units a month and last month they did 115. Some dealers have closed down here, like Saturn and a Chevy franchise store, but luckily they weren't my accounts.

Got to ask - did that scenario have anything to do with Disaster Recovery?

Don't let these guys jerk you around. To change your custom title, go to My Stuff, then go to Preferences. You can change your custom title there.

Yeah, here in the Houston area things are very soft. Two BIG multi lot
franchises went under. Bill Heard out of Atlanta, and Landmark, a local
institution died at the beginning of the year. This past month the folks
up front moved 66 ? units. Way down from 185 same month last year.
My end was up about 25% Febytd, but the early part of the month
carried us. Last week of the month was dead. I've missed the last two
days with the flu, but the early part of the week was sad.

The company I work for is hiring.

Please check the website for company background: http://www.mitre.org/ and then review the Employment tab for locations and current openings. If you see an opening that fits your credentials, send me a PM and I'll arrange to submit your resume. Mitre is not fast at hiring, but they are one of Fortune Magazine's 100 best companies to work for and are a Federally Funded Research and Development Corporation (non-profit FFRDC).
