Hi,
This particular book has been frustrating me to no end as I haven't been able to land a copy of this book for my project.
I need a G.I. Joe #26 in 9.4 or higher, preferably slabbed, but raw is OK if you're pretty confident I can get it slabbed in 9.4.
The catch is, I need it to have a newsstand label :
Please PM me with what you have. Looking for one copy only unless it's a raw, in which case I'll probably want a second one in case the first fails a pre-screen submission.
Thank you!
Edited by General Zod (03/05/0903:47 PM) Edit Reason: Amended to exclude the white Spidey face completely as I've been informed a copy with this does not exist.

Also collecting quite a few G.I. Joe (Marvel) issues that grade NM or better without the "black" direct edition labels. Please PM me, thanks!

Issue #26 does not exist with the white spidey face.... only the black spidey face for direct markets and upc codes for everywhere else. You'll find a unicorn before you find #26 with a white spidey
The first prints have the marvel M with the price information (as was common with all direct market books back then) and also sold for 60 cents, while the second prints have 75 cent prices.
THE_BEYONDERTHE_BEYONDER The world looks mighty good to me cuz signatures are all I see.

Canadian newsstand versions are 75 cent books as well

Ah, my mistake. So I'm stuck with only the newsstand UPC? (Let me qualify that by saying I'm still skipping the Black Spidey UPC if possible.) Or I am confused about what this statement means? "The first prints have the marvel M with the price information". There is another UPC label aside from the Black Spidey face on this issue?

You could get either the black spidey head (direct market) or the upc code (everywhere else).
The first print direct market editions. where the price and issue number are located on direct market editions... prices are on the left side of the "m", while the issue number and month are on the left side of the "m".
