Actually, in these circumstances, I'd be real happy to be corrected.
I don't know. For some reason I thought someone told me Boca/Punta something or other on the east coast, but I am not 100%.
Well glad to see we cleared up where Jason might live Honestly Paul, out of the laundry list of things people would like to see CGC address, where Ewert lives is not too high up on the list.
Since you opened the door, why not step through it and offer some insight as to where CGC officially stands regarding potential Ewert trimmed books being in the CGC registry and currently for sale on various sites? (aside from saying you will check them if sent in)
And I mean this in a positive way Paul, it really is a cause for concern to many both pro and anti CGC, and something I wish you guys would be more proactive about.

True true.
Officially I don't know our opinion on the matter. Let me find out.

Eleventy millionth person to declare their first year on the boards as the golden age, and the current era to be worthless.

Upon hearing it was Brulato/Ewert his comment was 'I guarantee you something is wrong with this book'. After that, I stayed away from them.
Approximately what year was this?
Back before Jason teamed up with Brulato, I had found him to be quite honest. I was looking at a Showcase #32 he had at a comic con in Toronto or Detroit toward the end of the last millennium and he told me this was the same Showcase I had seen previously, but now with one of the staples professionally replaced by Susan Ciccone.

I bought those Spideys at a Motor City Con in the late 90's. I do remember Brulato saying many of the books they were offering were from his personal collection. If so, they were probably undercopies as he was acquiring the Curator copies. Maybe he owned them with CT and did not know. Before CGC and PLOD labels, minor restoration was not as active a topic as it is now.
