Sure.

I read my TPB/HC's on the train to and from work...that 1 1/2 hr commute back and forth gives me PLENTY of time!

Since I opened my own shop, I try to read in public as much as possible. I've seen people on the train (subway, here in Boston) reading comics (trades) lots of times -- Y, Strangers in Paradise, et cetera.

I don't know that I've ever seen people reading floppies in public. Hmm.

Once, actually, at a bar, when I went with some friends after a comic shop visit. But since they were mine and my friend's, it doesn't count.

I have heard tale that some of my customers (Hub Comics, Union Square, Somerville, Mass!) take their books to the coffee house across the street and read them there, though. \:\)

Trades, yes. Single issues, no, unless they're reader copies or modern age.

wassamatta? Prejudiced against the "Shitcan Pedigree"?

I am hardly ever in public... if I was, I would probably have a trade or three with me...

I don't in the general public due to wanting to keep my books nice, and that I prefer to have them on a flat surface to read. I would read trades in public if I have them with me. I did read books at a friends comic shop, and currently at work.
