WOW...I'm pretty sure this is the best copy I've seen of this SUPER ELUSIVE cover.....it ended on COMICLINK for $1,005.

This 5.0 ended at $502...I wonder what a 9.0 would bring. Maybe 5K ??. GOSH I would love to own a decent copy of this one.

In my opinion, both of those prices are steals. I simply don't understand why this book doesn't sell for more. It's silly for me to question the market, but it's a very tough book to find in decent shape. You might be a little biased.  The undercopy seemed like a very good deal to me. Too bad I'm not in the market for one.
The only bias I might have is that I already have a copy of this book and think it's the premier pre-code horror book. If I knew these two books were up for auction, I likely would have bid. I am neither the owner nor seller of either of them.

Agreed.... pre-code horror is deader than a doornail now. I'm surprised that it has stayed this way for years.
