And I will just say it, the NOE logo was obviously meant to poke some fun at NOD,big deal. They should have acted like they could care less and not said a word. All it did was bring it to everyone's attention.
Actually we could care less about the logo. I've seen it, made me chuckle, then moved on.
I can say this
1. NOD Board of Directors knew nothing about this until I, and another Board of Directors member, read this thread today 2. NOD Board of Directors DID NOT authorize anyone to speak to CGC about this matter on behalf of NOD 3. If NOD Counsel contacted CGC about this, it was not authorized by the the NOD Board of Directors and therefore the request is not official 4. NOD Board of Directors officially requests that any action taken by CGC Moderators in regards to this matter be reveresed, as the complaint did not come from the NOD Board of Directors, which is the only entity within the organization authorized to act on behalf or instruct Counsel to act on behalf of the organization
Apologies to Jim (Doc Watson) for this unfortunate, non-sanctioned event. We were completely unaware of it and would not take steps like this to dispute a matter so trivial as a parody.

I agree. Its all about grins and giggles now. And probably only in my mind did the whole Harry Potter reference even come close to funny But, like I told one of my students today, I dont really care if you think its funny, i only care if I think its funny.

Why is it that when the NOD is mentioned you and a select few other board members disparage the organization. The NOD is a group of individuals who desire to "proactively disclose any restoration or enhancements done to a comic book." That is nothing to get all worked up over. Life's too short to be filled with so much venom.
Again, like I said in the last pm you sent me and never replied to: Who are you?
I am a long time collector of comic books who has repeatedly been burned by unethical behavior in this hobby.
