Stanley Stanley Chatzilla Registered: 06/27/05 Posts: 2351 Loc: Southwest Desert	How do I make a black back ground? I know how to crop or cut out , but I would like a black back ground or I could experiment with other colors. Obviously the image on the top has been cut out. The one on the bottom is not cut out. I’m using a Sony Cyber Shot MPEGMOVIE VX 5.0 Mega Pixels I’m using an assortment of programs all of which are of the free versions. pendragon1998 pendragon1998 I was posting here when you were in diapers. Registered: 03/10/06 Posts: 3583 Loc: Mississippi	Well, you're cropping it out just fine. When you've done that, create a new image file File>>New and when that comes up, just paint it black with the fill bucket thingie. winstonware winstonware FACT if I stop posting, trillions and trillions of transistors would be out of work. Registered: 03/27/06 Posts: 4569 Loc: Boston	I usually just start with an 800X400 black background image. Then I can just cut and paste the cropped coins in.

You notice the dark one looks larger in size, but it’s not. Yes I’m clueless One more thing. Even if I was more meticulous in my cropping efforts I think it would still look better on a lighter canvas.
