Are these the same book after being cleaned/pressed?
I notice a few defects on one not on the other, but am wondering if they could've been removed by pressing/cleaning.
The two books appear to have the same staple placement. They also seem to have identical stains near the flag on the right of the cover, identical defects on the bottom right corner, identical top left corners, identical indentations by Wonder Woman's left fist, and similar creases cutting across the top of the building on the left side of the cover.
Anyway, just wondering someone with a better eye than me could look at each book and let me know if they are the same copy or not.
Thanks!

Also, I just noticed, on the word "Magazines" in the very top left, the last two letters have the same green and white stains on each copy.
Anyway, after looking closely, I think these might be the same book, but would really appreciate either confirmation, or someone pointing out why the two books are different.

At first glance they look the same imho. That very odd stain to the right of the American flag (below the 'a' in Woman) looks exactly the same on each book.

That stain is just one of many identifiers. I don’t think it was an oversight that the pedigree status was removed. It is not the first time I have seen this happen.

I'm sure I'm going to get boo'ed straight off the boards for this next part.
But as many of you know Jim Halperin (one of the owners of Heritage) was in trouble with the law a while back, for, among other things, creating a coin grading/encapsulation service which he used to give his coins inflated grades, which he then sold through a Heritage-backed company at vastly inflated prices. (There was an article about it in Forbes a while back.) Here is a link to Heritage's version of events, located on their site:
Heritage's article
(And as we all know, Halperin is currently a part-owner of CGC)
Anyway, fast-forward a few years and take a look at eBay user LewisWayneGallery. (an auction house located in Dallas Tx) As far as I can tell, 100% of their high end comic books have come from Heritage. LewisWayneGallery's domain name is registered with the following information:
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?whoistoken=0
Domain name: LEWISWAYNEGALLERY.COM
Registrant Contact: Heritage Galleries Robert Dennis (robertd@heritagegalleries.com) +1.2147805554 Fax: none 3500 Maple Avenue, 17th Floor Dallas, TX 75219 US

The Sensation 1 "sells" through Heritage cheap the first time around as an 8.5. Then suddenly a company with close ties to Heritage (to put it mildly) has the book for sale, only now its a 9.2. Only this time, the pedigree designation is removed, and its not being sold through "Heritage", its being sold through "LewisWayneGallery", (for almost twice what it sold for just last year), in an effort to make what was done much more difficult to track.
Is anyone else able to connect the dots here? Does anyone here know how many of Nic Cage's books have come up for sale through Heritage since they first sold a few years ago? Does anyone want to guess how many of them are now higher grade, with the Nic Cage designation removed, and the original grade now absent from the CGC census?
Is anyone else as upset about it as I am? Personally, I don't like the resub game much to begin with. When a pedigree designation is removed, its even worse. But now, if someone has a problem with this sort of thing, its not like you can just avoid Heritage's auctions... because now it appears they are trying to sell using other names???
Also, is anyone worried what the effect on the hobby might be if Halperin almost gets arrested for fraud this time?
I think CGC is the best thing to ever happen to the comic book collecting hobby. And its very frustrating to me the way a few unscrupulous individuals are abusing the system and ruining it for everybody.
